YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT season 2 winner Elvish Yadav and controversy seem to be going hand-in-hand these days. Having constantly made the headlines in the past few months for his abrasive and aggressive behaviour, he was arrested by the Noida police due to his involvement in the snake venom case. He and a few others were accused of supplying snake venom at his rave parties in Noida. Days after his arrest, his parents - father Ram Avatar Yadav, and mother Sushma Yadav, opened up about their son on national television.

Clips from their interview with Zee News have surfaced on the internet where the emotional parents made shocking revelations about their son and his online persona. A few days ago it was heavily reported that Yadav admitted to arranging snake venom for his party and being in constant contact with the supplier. Now, shedding light on the same, the YouTuber’s father, broke down on national television and stated that the media was spreading fake news about their son. ALSO READ: WHAT! The 26-year-old’s father stated that Elvish is innocent and if given the chance, he would like “agle 1000 janm mein Elvish ka father banna chahunga. Wo bilkul nirdosh hain.” Netizens have taken to social media to share and reshare clippings of the interview. Further in the interveiw, it was also seen that Ram Avatar Yadav talked about the financial struggles the family has been facing. From talking about showing off rented cars to his followers on social media, to staying in dire conditions, the father revealed heartbreaking incidents from their life. As reported by multiple media outlets, Elvish Yadav will face charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act along with a case under the Wildlife Act. Section 29 of the stringent law deals with drug-related conspiracies like buying and selling. It is to be noted, that bail isn’t easily granted under this law.
